You may have been on a longer trip around the world or want to study in Germany. You're happy to be back, but somehow it feels strange - like the winter jacket you haven't worn for a long time. Your friends seem different, everyday life seems foreign.

You are traveling with children - depending on their age, children perceive a move to a new, unfamiliar environment differently and you are not sure whether your children need special support.

You have had completely different cultural experiences and don't know how you will cope with the German mentality.

You have gained new professional experience and don't know whether you want to build on it in Germany or possibly change your direction completely.

Once you arrive in Germany, you float between worlds for a while.

What to expect

With my Premium Re-Entry Program, you will learn holistic strategies and mindset methods that will help you integrate quickly and successfully into your home country.

Strategy meeting

In the first strategy meeting (60 minutes), you will report on your individual needs. You will identify personal goals and expectations, which will be the foundation for the following sessions.

Session 1 + 2

The next two sessions (90 minutes each) after your return to Germany are all about creating a successful new start. You will build a social network, find new routines and learn how to deal with cultural differences.

Session 3 + 4

In the following two sessions (90 minutes each) after approx. 3 months, you will learn tools to deal with the so-called re-entry shock. You will use holistic strategies to resolve possible reintegration challenges. You will discover new perspectives for successful integration in your personal and professional environment and strengthen your individual potential for lasting positive change.

I went through the re-entry process twice myself and as a teacher I accompanied and supported many children in the USA and Germany in their integration. When I returned to Hamburg after six years, I was initially very excited. But I soon began to long for my time in Boston and wanted to return immediately.

Returning from abroad can be a major challenge.

But today I feel truly at home in Germany again and I look forward to accompanying you on your journey to a fulfilling future!
